Children's Activities
A variety of activities are available for
every age group. Activities and events
listed here are intended for children from
Birth.

Going to God in Prayer
There are many ways to pray and many
people to pray for. You can be a prayer
pal, on the prayer chain, join the prayer
group, or other options.

Monticello Choir
Every Tuesday, 6:30 p.m.
Psalms 100:1 says that we should "make a
joyful noise unto the Lord" which is the
basis for the choir. Join them as they
prepare for Sunday Worship.

United Methodist Women
2nd Sunday at 4:00 p.m.
Women's Ministry Group to teach God's
love and to help those in need. Group
offers prayer, outreach, Bible Study and
much more.

United Methodist Men
2nd Sunday at 4:00 p.m.
Men's Ministry Group designed to fulfill
needs for spiritual fellowship. Group
sponsors social events to benefit both
church and community.

Helping Hands Sisterhood
1st Thursday  6:00 p.m.
Women's Ministry Group for all ages.
Group focuses on local missions,
fellowship, laughter, fun, encouragement,
outreach, and devotions.

Morning Glories
3rd Thursday  11:00 a.m.
Senior Ministry where members enjoy
trips, time of prayer, food, and fellowship.
Youth Group
A group wild and crazy for the Lord. Hold
regular meetings and events designed for
those in Middle and High School and some
a little older (nobody wants to leave!).

Meals for Shut-ins
Tuesday Evening  4:30 p.m.
Know a shut-in, someone who is sick, or
someone who recently had surgery? We
will deliver them a home cooked meal.

Weekday School
For ages 2, 3, 4 year olds
Meets Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
The Weekday School fosters a clean, safe,
and loving environment where a child may
work on all aspects of physical, mental, and
 spiritual growth.

Girl Scouts
Girl Scout Troops meet at Monticello at
various times throughout the week. The
troops serve girls ages 5 to 18 of all ethnic,
religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds
as well as girls of all abilities and interests.
Almost all troops are active in trips,
badgework, and service projects.

Weight Watchers
Monday  12:00 p.m.
Tuesdays 4:30 p.m. & 6:00 p.m.
Saturday 8:00 a.m.
A unique approach to weight loss that
promotes healthy habits, a supportive
environment, and exercise, in addition to
making smarter food choices.

Small Groups
At Monticello, we offer small groups which
allow for intimate Christian fellowship
including Bible Studies, quilting groups, etc.
